It manages to keep all the themes of the original movies and feed off them to a roller coaster ride of action and human / ape character development.
As with the movies You never know what is going to happen and who is going to survive.
This book keeps getting better and better.
I will probably get a more in depth review after the climax of this mini series next issue.
Issue 4 is going to be immense.
