No Internet. More excitement?

@DC_Nation It's like the Internet didn't exist or something!!??

I used to love these advertising sheets you could pick up. I used to study them for hours and make lists. Beat that Internet!

NIA

Big Finish Productions / Audio Visual.

Some flyers from Audio Visuals.

Great Doctor Who audio tapes from back in the 1980s.

Loved these.

NIA.

UKCAC85.

I remember this. Dave Sim told the 15 year old me that he had been to a 'titty bar'.

That was a bit weird.

NIA.

UKCAC - Year of Watchmen and Batman.

Having a dig about I also found this programme of events from UKCAC86.

And yes it does have a Watchmen panel with Dave Gibbons, Alan Moore and John Higgins. 'It's been out for five issues now...'

It also seems to have a 'State of the Industry' panel with Chris Claremont, Gary Groth, Gil Kane, Gary Leach and David Lloyd.

I remember this so well. Great days.

Hmmm. What else will I find?

NIA.

Comics Lists.

I was going through some boxes in the loft when I found some lists that the comics obsessed 13 year old me wrote.

Interesting rankings indeed.

A v X Party at Chaos City.

Pop along.

The Boy Wonder and myself will be there. Should be excellent.

Avon.

This is a great book and well worth a read if you can find it.

On a recent Paul Darrow / Big Finish panel an audience member suggested that it could be turned into a play or audio book. Hope they get that done it would be excellent.

Avon is still one if the best written TV characters ever. Paul Darrow is a criminally ignored talent.
