The Boy Wonder Reviews (Green Lantern Movie).

As part of our ongoing reviews by my son (a 14 year old comics fan).  He has decided to review the Green Lantern Movie that we saw this morning (Father's Day) in 3D.

He started by writing about what he wanted to see in the movie and then moved on afterwards to what he thought of it.

Have a read.

PS - Spoilers.

Green Lantern - The Movie.

Cert - 12A.

What I'd Like To See In The Movie.

1.  Imaginative Ring Creations and Weapons (tick).
2.  The Guardians being called 'smurfs' by Guy Gardener. (no tick).
3.  A scene involving the different rings.  (half a tick).
4.  See Green Lanterns Mogo and Green Man.  (no tick).
5.  Batman knocking out Guy Gardner with one punch.  (no tick).

Score - 1 and a half out of 5.

What I Thought Of The Movie.

I did enjoy this film.  Especially the training of Hal on Oa.  The special effects on Oa were very good but strangely lacked the colour green.  The ring creations used in the film were very imaginative and not always the normal chainsaws and swords.

My favourite character was Sinestro.  He was just brimming with arrogance and the actor who played him did a very good job in my opinion.

Though the movie did lack an imaginative storyline and parts of the story did not seem to fit in with the rest of the movie.  But overall it was a good film.  Remember to stay there at the end of the credits for an expected but interesting scene.

Acting - 8 out of 10.
Special Effects - 10 out of 10.
Overall Movie - 8 out of 10.

Well there you have it!
